Generous engine.

In the power class below 19 kW, the new Kohler KDW 1404 – fully compliant with the Stage V emissions regulations – proves to be a generous engine because with 4 cylinders and 1400 cubic centimetres, it delivers a torque of 78 Nm.

The addition of the rpm regulator makes the engine more ready and offers better response to loads.

The opening system of the tractor’s bonnet provides full access to the engine, facilitating routine maintenance operations.

Transmission.

The 24-speed synchronised gearbox (12 forward + 12 reverse) provides a wide choice of work speeds.

The synchronised inverter also allows rapid changes of direction, shifting from forward to reverse and vice versa, offering an important advantage during jobs requiring frequent reversals.

The dry double-disc clutch has many advantages:

  • Efficiency in power transmission: more direct transmission of power from the engine to the wheels.
  • Easy cooling: especially during prolonged use.
  • Immediate response: ideal for jobs requiring frequent gear changes or sudden stops.
  • Simple construction and reduced maintenance costs: easier to inspect and repair. This results in cheaper and faster maintenance.

Unrivalled.

The four-wheel drive, with the possibility of disengaging the front wheel drive, and locking the rear differential allow the tractor to increase traction when the situation calls for it, ensuring maximum adherence on the ground at all times.

The planetary reduction units on the rear axle and the bull-gear units on the front steering axle give the tractor excellent robustness and allow the full power of the engine to be utilised, maximising the transmission of torque to the wheels.

Hydraulics.

The hydraulic system consists of a gear pump with a flow rate of 19 l/min and can supply up to 6 rear hydraulic outlets for the use of a wide range of equipment.

Rear hydraulic lift is provided by two cylinders with raise and lower operation (optional position- and draft-controlled operation available) and category 1 three-point hitch.

A front power lift with front and under-belly PTO at 1700 rpm is available as an option.

The 540-rpm rear PTO is independent of the gearbox and is synchronised with the drive for coupling with small self-propelled trailers or agricultural equipment that requires synchronisation with tractor speed.

Driver’s seat.

The driver’s seat of Era 35 was designed to-measure for the driver with all of the controls set up ergonomically and easy to use.

A modern dashboard with analogue instruments offers total control of the tractor’s status.

Hydrostatic steering acting on the front wheels guarantees maximum manoeuvrability and reduced turning radii to work better even in tight spaces.

The rear service brakes, multiple disc in oil bath, are extremely efficient and maintenance-free.

To use the tractor in the field, the brake pedals can be disengaged and can thus be operated separately and act independently on the right or left rear wheel, further reducing the turning radius.
